Providers are the model backends Arkitec uses to run chat and AI tasks.
Arkitec is provider-flexible, so you are not locked to one model vendor.

How to connect a provider
- Open
Settings. - Go to
Model Providers. - Select the provider you want.
- Complete the sign-in or API key flow.
- Return to your workspace.
Why teams use multiple providers
- different models are better for different tasks
- teams may already have preferred vendors
- provider choice can change by workspace or use case
