MCP

Add MCP servers to expand what Arkitec can access and do.

What MCP does

MCP lets Arkitec connect to extra tools and systems beyond the base chat experience.

This is how you expand Arkitec when you need more than the default environment.

Add your own MCP

  1. Open the workspace where you want the MCP available.
  2. Add the MCP configuration for that workspace.
  3. Open Settings.
  4. Go to MCP.
  5. Enable the server.
  6. Authenticate if required.

Add multiple MCPs

You can connect more than one MCP server in the same workspace.

Common uses:

  • local tools
  • remote services
  • internal systems
  • authenticated integrations

What to watch for

Arkitec shows MCP status so you can see whether a server is connected, disabled, or waiting for auth.
