Getting Started
Install Arkitec, sign in, connect a provider, and reach the chat window.
Install Arkitec
- Download the Arkitec desktop app.
- Install it on your machine.
- Launch the app.

Sign in to your account
- On launch, sign in with your Arkitec account.
- Complete the authentication flow.
- Wait for Arkitec to finish loading your workspace shell.

Connect a model provider
Before starting your first serious session, connect at least one provider in Settings > Model Providers.
Typical setup:
- Open
Settings. - Select
Model Providers. - Choose the provider you want to use.
- Complete the sign-in or API key flow.
- Return to the workspace.

Open a workspace folder
- From the empty state, click
Open Folder. - Choose the local folder you want Arkitec to work in.
- Wait for the workspace to load.

Reach the chat window
After your workspace opens and a provider is connected, Arkitec takes you to the main workbench.
At this point you should be able to see:
- the chat area
- the composer
- the workspace context
- the main app navigation
That is the point where setup is complete and you can start your first session.
